The End of a Chapter, Another Reborn
January last year I was already ready to
face the new year, but as the news spreads about the new virus, I was not
bothered much, or so I thought. As the nationwide lockdown started, I was skeptical
yet amused about the long vacation that awaits. Our family ties are already
close, but the pandemic made the bond even stronger. I realized how important
and amusing that our family is supporting each other during this tough time. As
classes were about to start I was flimsy at the first week, but I managed to
adapt to this “new normal”. I find enjoyment in learning new things, though one
subject brings my weakness. I still manage to continue on.
Not only did this pandemic brought all of
us closer, it also strengthened my faith to God as he is the one who helps me
endure and guide me in all my life. It may be difficult to handle situations
like this being alone but through God’s guidance and protection, I was able to
overcome the ramparts. I became more aware of what is happening. After all what
doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
We encounter many hardships and challenges
in life. Just like how a diamond is formed through immense pressure. Becoming
the strongest and hardest gem here on earth. We are just like diamonds, when
challenges erupts, our lives may rumble. That’s how I came through this year,
the pressure, and hardships I endured and fought. Brought out the resilience in
me to continue on fighting becoming stronger and more knowledgeable. As I begin
this new chapter of my life all I can say is that I will face this new year
with a more plumped up version of me.
