Making My Way

 

    As we progress to get back on our feet during this hard time. I can say that I am getting stronger day by day. At the beginning of the first quarter of classes; it was a big adjustment for me, without the traditional face-to-face classes, I am having a hard time coping in this new normal way of learning. But I managed to overcome those hardships it brought. When the second quarter came, I felt ready to face the new chapter, I already adjusted to the new style of learning, making me productive in doing so.

            There are still significant problems I face, as always with no mentors guiding us in our studies, being like a sheep who’s gone astray. Especially in our research where we are made to do individually, being with a group is already hard enough, but doing these studies on your own is way on another level. However, with the dedication to pursue my education, I will not back down, and I will face these challenges to be victorious. Beforehand I had no interest in computer sciences like programming, but as I learned it this quarter, I find it very amusing and fun to learn. We really never get to know new things unless we experience them.

            The covid-19 pandemic made limits as to what we can do, but it also opened new doors for us to explore and to think outside the box. Though at times those new things bring hardships to us,  I managed to cope with those challenges because I made myself strong, believing in myself to the best of what I can do. A new frontier we are always facing; a frontier that made me stronger and to be ready for the journey I have ahead of me.
