The Light That Shines The World
In the history of mankind, especially in the early centuries, a cultural barrier separates and hinders equality towards all genders. Asserting male superiority in all ways of life, making the role of women insignificant. But as time progress, so is our hearts and mind in abolishing any difference between men and women, creating more freedom and equality in doing all things. The National Women’s Month Celebration is a reminder to all people that women are not just slaves of the household, but they are the light that radiates to give life a brighter meaning.
A women’s role is so much more than
we think, they bring life in this world, nourishing every person she cares for.
It is in their hearts to care and foster, making and creating a better future
for everyone. If we think a woman is just that, then we are all wrong. Many
women throughout history changed and revolutionized the world we are living in.
Through their contributions, life-changing discoveries, and work. From monarchs
like Queen Elizabeth I who refused to marry because she has the power to fight
and serve her people, the discovery of radioactivity by Madam Marie Curie whose
dedication to her work caused her life, Florence Nightingale who made the foundation
of nursing, to local heroes like Gabriela Silang who fought for freedom. All
women have the power to change the world, some may even be better than the works
of men. Our modern-day heroes are women, our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and many more, they are the ones who are always there for us, caring no matter
who we are.
This year’s National Women’s Month
Celebration may be different because of the pandemic, but that won’t change the
roles women have done in this world and in our lives. Equality is what will
bring our bonds closer and stronger, to fight off any problems and challenges
we face. Love towards one another can
lead to many frontiers and open new doors for endless possibilities. This month dedicated to all women who are
always loving and continuing on to shine light in all darkness.
